Recent News Parade of Homes 2011 Three Forbes Capretto homes will be featured in the BNBA’s 2011 Parade of Homes. The following will be open for extended hours (Saturday/ Sunday 1:00 – 5:00pm) September 24/25 and October 1/2: - 131 Hazelwood Lane, Grand Island - 2 Sawgrass Lane, Lancaster - 55 Birdsong Parkway, Orchard Park As well as being able to tour the homes, “Enter to Win” prizes. Additionally, First Niagara Bank is providing a special mortgage incentive to buyers who purchase one of the homes from the Parade of Homes. Doubled-up Households Increasing The US Census Bureau defines doubled-up households as households that include at least one “additional” adult: a person 18 or older who is not enrolled in school and is not the householder, spouse or cohabiting partner of the householder. A recent survey from the Bureau found that in spring 2007, prior to the recession, doubled-up households totaled 19.7 million. By spring 2011, the number of doubled-up households had increased by 2.0 million to 21.8 million (up 1.3 percentage points). |
